Books on the Road

We took Enviro-Stories to the 37th NSW Environmental Education Conference in the Hunter Valley at the end of October.

Our display included some of our best books from the past 7 years, a range of education resources produced as part of Enviro-Stories and Creative Catchment Kids, and a box of free books to giveaway.

The response received was overwhelming! Teachers and organisations were very surprised to find out that our Enviro-Stories books are written and illustrated by kids, not adults. They were also keen to find out how individuals could get involved.

In response to this interest, we have some great news for everyone…

At the beginning of the 2016 school year, we will be launching a sponsorship program designed just for schools and individuals who are not involved in one of our bigger programs.

Enviro-Stories Library Launched

Lastly, we officially soft-launched our brand new library. The Enviro-Stories Storybook Library has outgrown the Enviro-Stories website.

The brand new Enviro-Stories Library library.envirostories.com.au provides readers with the opportunity to search and find the book/s you want to read. You still have the ability to download a PDF of the book and read the book online; some books also have interactive multi-touch books for iPads.

All books are currently being transferred to the new library and hope to be all up and running in 2016. If you have a link to an existing book, don’t worry…these will be redirected automatically to the new website.

We are very thankful for the wonderful response to Enviro-Stories and that we can now grow the program for those people who want to be involved, or just want to read these fantastic children’s books.
