This is the tale of Terry the cane toad who travels on a ship from Hawaii bound for Australia. He is one of the first cane toads introduced to Australia. Unfortunately, there is an evil cane toad who tries to convince him that they are going to take over the country. Terry tries his best to stop this happening…but history has shown that he failed.
This is a great little narrative that combines good storytelling with factual knowledge about the introduction of an invasive species.
